Terms of Service
Legal terms, licensing agreements, and service conditions governing software and online services provided by East Coast Science, LLC.
1. Software Licensing & Distribution
Software applications developed by East Coast Science, LLC (including RTTy, HyperCPU, HyperTune, ReceiptRoo, and ScanRoo) are licensed, not sold. Applications obtained via the Apple Mac App Store or iOS App Store are governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). Binaries distributed directly via Developer ID notarized disk images are licensed for authorized device usage according to applicable commercial license keys.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
All proprietary algorithms, user interface designs (including the Liquid Glass UI paradigm), graphics, icons, logos, source code, and documentation remain the exclusive intellectual property of East Coast Science, LLC. Apple, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and the Apple logo are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.
3. Disclaimer of Warranties
All software products, documentation, and services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall East Coast Science, LLC or its principals be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, or loss of information) arising out of the use of or inability to use the software.
5. Service Level Agreement (SLA) & Governing Law
Technical support requests submitted via email to support@eastcoastscience.com receive a target 48-hour engineering triage response. These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States of America.
