East Coast Science, LLC is an independent software and systems engineering company based in New York, NY. We build native macOS, iOS, and iPadOS applications alongside high-availability edge services—focusing on network observability, filesystem telemetry, on-device document intelligence, and developer workflow automation.

Universal2 Binary Gate

Universal2 is a mandatory build gate across all East Coast Science macOS applications. Every app builds dual slices for arm64 (Apple Silicon, targeting macOS 27.0) and x86_64 (Intel, targeting macOS 26.7). The release pipeline verifies lipo -archs before packaging.

Developer ID Application Signing

All production binaries are signed with the company Developer ID certificate (Developer ID Application: east coast science, llc (ZU2882L4HT)), built with Apple Hardened Runtime, cryptographically timestamped, and stapled after automated Apple notarytool notarization.

Local-First & Private iCloud

Application data resides locally in the user's secure application container. Cross-device synchronization operates strictly through the user's personal, end-to-end encrypted iCloud account. No East Coast Science server retains, inspects, or has access to customer measurement or document data.

Privacy Covenant

East Coast Science applications contain zero advertising SDKs, zero user-tracking frameworks, and zero third-party telemetry. Diagnostic logging is strictly opted-in and sanitized. We do not sell or monetize personal data under any circumstances.
